It takes a miracle to form a butterfly,
Its wings so delicate and bright...
From a lowly caterpillar, bound to the ground,
To a gorgeous creature in flight...
What a Miracle!

It takes a miracle to set a lost soul free,
Change a dark heart and make it right...
From a lowly sinner, bound in the state of sin,
To a saint filled with glory light...
What a Miracle!

Every time I see a beautiful butterfly,
My rejoicing heart stands so still...
A perfect portrait of a new creature in Christ,
I cannot help but get a thrill...
What a Miracle!
