Praise be to God, Christ did not stay
Bound in the tomb that day;
Hallelujah! Our Savior lives...
He hears us when we pray.

The disciples walked with Him,
Ate with Him, talked with Him;
Oh, how their hearts burned within...
As Jesus spoke with them.

Yes, our Lord is alive and well,
He touches hearts today;
Hungry, thirsty souls are filled...
Who trust Him and obey.

If we ever doubt, like Thomas,
His hand He will reveal,
That we may know He is alive...
And that our God is real.

His mercy and grace are for all
Who hear His tender call;
He'll forgive the vilest sinner...
Redeeming from the fall.

He is the Shepherd of our souls -
The Way, the Truth, the Door,
Come and enter His green pastures...
Feast with Him evermore.
